ClassicCars TV meets Cindy Noyes at the 2024 Arizona Concours d’Elegance and learns about her 1957 Studebaker Golden Hawk, aka Eve, which she discovered in 2008 alongside a parts donor car, Adam. Inspired by a diecast model she received as a gift from her husband Peter, Cindy embarked on a 4.5-year restoration journey.
Her Golden Hawk features an original supercharged 289 ci V8, which produces 275 horsepower, and a matching cream and gold interior. Eve’s exceptional restoration has already won accolades, including Best in Class at the 2016 Forest Grove Concours d’Elegance in Oregon.
That Golden Hawk is beautiful! I know an old guy that has one just like but with a four speed he bought it in California years ago already done . I had to help the old guy life the hood and set the prop up for him at the car show . He was a truck driver when he found the car . He said he always wanted one .
Beautiful! Inspiring for me because I have a 1958 Golden Hawk about 90% restored, and a 1957 Golden Hawk that has a solid body but lots of work to complete!
